Lots of fun stuff happening lately. I started Kindergarten. My friend Kaili visited from Las Vegas. I just turned 6 years old. Just had my hairs cut for the first time ever. Yesterday I had a really fun photoshoot at a really cool facility close to Turtle Bay on the North Shore.
It was so great to finally get to see my Daddy! He came to visit us in Hawaii Kai for Valentine’s Day – and got to meet my brother Tiki!
We got to do a lot of fun things – we swam in the ocean almost every day, went shopping, went to many different parks, applied for a couple of schools for next year – and got to explore more of this beautiful island I now call home!
Ava Kalea Kennedy traveled to the Seattle area from July 1 -6, to see her Daddy, sister, aunts, uncles, grandfather and lots of friends.
Her sister left for Ukraine on the 3rd of July, but Ava and Jacqueline were able to spend some time together three days in a row.
Ava Kalea is super excited to be playing soccer and part of the Unicorns Soccer Club (team). She actually scored a goal in her first game ever vs the Kicking Cuties.
Her Grandma JoJann and Grandpa Doug were at the game and Grandpa Doug caught the action on his GoPro. Great job on the video Doug!! Congratulations Ava Kalea! And nice assist by Ava’s Unicorn teammate Ava!
Well, it’s about time! Ava Kalea has been going to the library in Carmel Valley (San Diego) and Del Mar since she was very young. Now she is going to the library here in Enterprise, Las Vegas, Nevada. AND get this: she now has her own library card!
Ava chose a card that has dogs on the front. It was designed by a 2017 Library Card Design Contest Winner named Katelynn who was 17 at the time.
We got to check out three books today, including: 5 Minute Pinkalicious Stories (based on a PBS Kids television show Ava watches), Disney’s Frozen: Everyone Loves Olaf! and Pizza Pie Snowman by Valeri Gorbachev (who not only wrote the book, but also did all the illustrations).
This Enterprise Library is part of the Las Vegas – Clark County Library District and is staffed with very friendly people. Ava Kalea also had some fun with this great rug:
It’s crazy, my Momma and I moved to Las Vegas over a month ago. Can you tell what I’m going to be for Halloween?
Every day when we go to the beach, my daddy takes me to visit my friend, Sally the Sealion. She’s always happy to see me!
Ava Kalea has been doing pretty good during the quarantine, but has had bouts of bouncing off the walls. She’s bored right now and wants to post some more pics ….
Guess the posts from Ava’s Instagram are not going to show up here, so maybe we’ll add another gallery. Follow Ava Kalea on Instagram
It’s a great time to be alive – and an even better time to be Ava Kalea …
Here are a few photos from the past few months that Ava Kalea has been back in San Diego …
This post first appeared on a LinkedIn ski professionals group pages and then on Awesome Travel Guides. Thought it should also be posted here directly on Ava Kalea’s site so that her friends, family and fans will all know what she is up to.
Ava Kalea was a year old on 9/7/17 and we are looking forward to getting her on the snow this coming season. She received her first pair of skis for her first birthday and has been watching lots of YouTube videos of other babies skiing.
Considering spending a full month (or more) in Salt Lake City to ski at Park City or some of the other local resorts. Figuring 30 days on the snow will do her (and her parents) well.
Could potentially get Epic, Mountain Collective, or MAX passes and do some traveling – possibly having our baby ski in every resort on a pass …
We will be filming the entire process and progress – and posting daily on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. This a really great opportunity for ski and travel partners to get the word out about how great they are for family skiing and snowboarding.
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on how to hook up some partnerships and/or the best way(s) to get Ava Kalea up to speed?
